when you play it, do you see any MIDI indicators (red square or line or both) in the meters?.when you play it do the track's audio meters move?.is the Oxygen selected as the track's input device?.Just to check a few things (with ReaSynth on the track, and the volume level turned down -6dB)): The good news - the Oxygen will work fine with Reaper. I think I've covered everything I've tried. But it was a decent price and while I do want to lay down some decent keyboard sounds, I didn't need anything too extravagant to do so.ĭoes anyone have any ideas what could be going wrong here? It's a plug and play device for my OS - Windows 7 - and once configured should be working in Reaper. So yes, perhaps I shouldn't have bought it. I prefer a mouse and keyboard for control. I'm not looking to use the Oxygen 49 as a controller, only as an audio keyboard. I've also record/armed the track, as well as turned monitoring on - after choosing a VST (I've tried everything, including ReaSynth) and adding it as an effect. I've configured the controller in preferences for midi input, so Reaper recognizes it. I've read every bit of documentation available on the M-Audio site, in the Reaper Manual and here. I seem to be having an issue getting any audio output using an M-Audio Oxygen 49 Midi Controller in Reaper.
